COCO Chocolatier

COCO Chocolatier is a Scottish chocolate company that has gained recognition for its unique flavour combinations and stunning packaging. Based in South Queensferry, just outside Edinburgh, COCO Chocolatier was founded in Bruntsfield, Edinburgh in 2004 by an Australian chocolatier but was taken over by Calum Haggerty in 2013.

Calum had worked for the Edinburgh Fire Service and had never previously run a business. An art lover, he saw it as a perfect opportunity to combine his two passions - business and art & design and has since grown the business to move to larger premises and a hugely expanded range.

One of the things that sets COCO Chocolatier apart is their dedication to collaborating with local artisans and artists with each wrapper being uniquely designed for each flavour, making it a beautiful gifting brand.

They craft their bars from chocolate made in Colombia. They are committed to using “raise trade” chocolate to ensure more of the profits from the chocolate industry stay in the origin countries, raising incomes and job opportunites for local people.

They have a fantastic range of flavours with some of the favourites of Chocolatarium visitors being Rhubarb & Ginger Milk chocolate and their alcohol-free Gin & Tonic Dark with its delightful taste of juniper, lime and lemon.
