Montezuma

Founded in 2000, Montezuma takes its name from the famous Aztec emperor Montezuma II, known for his passion for cocoa. With a focus on creating delicious and innovative flavours with fun and original names like Great White (just white), Sea Dog (milk chocolate with lime and salt) and Orangutang (orange and butterscotch), Montezuma has become a beloved brand among chocolate enthusiasts.

Founded in Brighton by Helen and Simon Pattinson after a trip to South America, the company aims to be “Britain’s Greatest Little Chocolate company”. From rich and creamy milk chocolates to intense dark chocolates, their diverse selection caters to all tastes and have come up with some fantastic and original combinations with two outstanding flavours being Happiness, milk chocolate with salted caramelised hazelnuts and Hot Pickle, milk chocolate with chilli and lime.

A large number of their chocolates are organic, and many are gluten-free.

Their packaging is fun and vibrant, and from 2020, every piece of packaging on every bar is recyclable, biodegradable or compostable.
