We understand that avoiding dairy milk is essential for some. While we cannot 100% guarantee the absence of traces of milk, this selection of chocolates is
based on bars that do not list any dairy products as an ingredient. We provide information to help you make informed decisions about your chocolate
indulgences. It’s essential to check the ingredients and allergy information on the packaging when you receive your chocolate bar, just in case of any recent
changes.

To the best of our knowledge, some chocolate makers that do not manufacture any products containing dairy milk are Conscious, iChoc and Pacari as these
brands are dedicated vegan.

Dark Chocolate

With very few exceptions, dark chocolates do not normally have any dairy-based ingredients (Ghana Black and Chocolate Society's Flat White and Peppermint Swirl are rare examples).

Milk and White Chocolates

For dairy-free milk and white chocolates, there are some fantastic techniques and innovative ingredients chocolate makers have been using to bring creaminess
to their bars, including using alternative milks such as oat, soy, coconut or rice and creamy nut butters such as hazelnut and almond.

Coconut Milk Chocolate

Both Chocolate Tree 60% Coconut and Mellow's 55% Carribean Coconut Milk chocolates are delicious alternative milk chocolates with a coconut milk flavour with
Mellow's being the smoother of the two bars. If you’d rather not have a coconut flavour, take a look at Seed and Bean's vegan milk chocolates and iChoc's range.

Rice, Soy or Oat Alternative Chocolate

Seed and Bean use rice powder to create their milky chocolates such as Sea Salt & Orange and their 47% Vegan Salted Caramel. Guppy's also does a great oat milk-based chocolate from Colombia. 

Nut Butter Chocolate

Just as with vegan cream cheese, a great way of bringing creaminess to chocolate without adding dairy milk is to use nut butters. Chocolate Tree’s Hazelnut
Gianduja is one of the best.
