Fruity Chocolate
Fruit and chocolate are a dream pairing. Chocolate comes from fruit, after all, so it’s no surprise they work so beautifully together. From berries and citrus to apples, bananas and dried fruits, fruity chocolate offers endless flavour combinations. When paired thoughtfully, fruit enhances chocolate’s bitterness, sweetness and depth.
Here are some of our favourite fruity chocolates. Kicking things off with a guilty pleasure. We have Stateside's Peanut Butter & Jelly 34% milk chocolate. Raspberry-style jam pieces, peanut butter and toast crumbs recreate the PB&J sandwich in chocolate form. Not subtle, but seriously fun. Continuing the raspberry trend, we have Duffy's Raspberry 65% dark chocolate. Tart raspberry powder cuts through robust Dominican cacao with coffee notes, creating a bold, perfectly balanced dark chocolate.
On the sweeter side, try ARTHOUSE Unlimited's Rhubarb & Custard 35% white chocolate. Tart rhubarb is softened by creamy white chocolate and vanilla custard notes, echoing classic boiled sweets without tipping into gimmickry. And for the raspberry lovers, we've got a spectacular white chocolate, Willie's Cacao's Raspberries & Cream 36%. The bar is creamy, tart and dangerously moreish. White chocolate is infused with raspberries for colour and zing, delivering a clean, no-frills fruit-and-cream hit.
Rounding out the recommendations, Marou's Kumquat 68% dark chocolate has a refined citrus twist. Sour peel, sweet flesh and floral notes lift Marou’s warm, spicy dark chocolate for a bright, wake-up bar that reimagines orange chocolate beautifully. And Ocelot's Black Cherry 70% dark chocolate is deep, rich and indulgent. Dried cherries melt seamlessly into smooth dark chocolate, blurring the line between fruit and cacao and adding layers of bittersweet complexity.
