Bare Bones

Bare Bones is a small-scale, Glasgow-based chocolate company specialising in crafting high-quality, bean-to-bar chocolate. Founded in 2016 by Cameron and Lara Barrie, they have won numerous Academy of Chocolate awards for their scrummy bars, such as their moreish Dominican 68% Salted Dark Chocolate with its naturally caramelly flavour and their 59% “Dark Milk” coffee chocolate with a gentle coffee flavour made with cacao from Honduras.

Their Mechanical Engineering and Photography backgrounds and a passion for chocolate have led them to create expertly crafted, beautifully branded chocolate bars with exceptional quality and attention to detail.

The simple branding of Bare Bones chocolate reflects their minimalist style and commitment to sustainability, using packaging made from recycled and recyclable
materials. Their goal is to create a sustainable brand that showcases the incredible taste of cacao without additives, emphasising pure, delicious, and ethical chocolate that honours the farmers, the cacao, and the makers.

In addition to their regular range of dark chocolate bars, Bare Bones occasionally offers limited edition or experimental flavours, showcasing their creativity and innovation. They also produce hot chocolate mixes made from their high-quality chocolate, providing a rich and indulgent drinking experience.
